In March, MobileCAD were on site at Grace Road, the home of Leicestershire County Cricket Club to produce plans and elevations of the existing Cricket Pavilion. The Pavilion which comprises of conference suites, bars, offices, score box, team changing facilities and viewing areas over 3 floors was surveyed by 3 of the surveying team over a 4 day period. Utilising Leica Total Stations and Tablet PC’s allowed the surveyors to work on different parts of the building simultaneously and enabled them to clearly see the elevation detail in real time.

The survey data was handed over to the drawing office where two of the team worked on the drawings, turning round a completed drawing package to the client in under 3 days. In all, The Pavilion was surveyed and drawn within 9 days of initial arriving on site.
