Last week MobileCAD told a couple of the team they could go to the pub at the end of the week, but not for an early weekend drink. MobileCAD had been asked to carry out a measured building survey of the Moocock Inn in Nelson.

With two surveyors on site, the site area and elevations were recorded using our Leica Total Station and the internal layout was scanned with a Leica BLK360. This meant the the survey was completed in a single day. Drawings were completed by the drawing team within two days of the survey completion. Using the Leica BLK360 on a non colourised scan to record the internal layout meant the survey was completed quicker then with a Total Station and meant less disruption was caused in the pub while the survey was carried out.
